After 25 years of serving from rented facilities, Christian Institute of Management is building a permanent home for management education, leadership development and lasting impact.
On Saturday, 11th July 2026, we publicly unveiled the vision for the CIM Campus in Chennai. Missed it? Watch the full recording below.
From a small beginning in 2000, God has enabled CIM to impact thousands of leaders across India through training programmes, academic initiatives, consulting services and strategic partnerships. CIM went through multiple milestones during this period.
After twenty-five years of serving religious bodies, charitable institutions, healthcare and educational institutions from rented facilities, the need for a dedicated campus has become both timely and essential β a home where leaders can reside, collaborate, research and grow together.
Twenty-five years of operations from rented spaces. A permanent base enables stability, infrastructure development and the delivery of quality management education β strengthening CIM's vision.
Offer regular academic [MBA / Diploma] programmes related to NPO management disciplines. A professional environment enhances enrolment and institutional growth, nationally and internationally.
Ownership is an investment in CIM's future β reducing recurring expenses, strengthening financial stability, and forging research and consulting collaborations.
Spread across approximately five acres, the CIM Campus will unfold across nine buildings and four development phases β organised into integrated zones for training, education, research, conference, hospitality and reflection β ensuring every stage serves immediate ministry needs while contributing to the long-term vision.
The first building on campus β a miniature of the whole vision. Training rooms, a studio, library, board room and guest accommodation for CIM's training programmes, Train-the-Trainers/FDP, organisational development and administration.
Executive education, diploma/degree/postgraduate academic programmes, and a Finishing School & Placement Centre preparing candidates for leadership and management roles in the NPO sector.
On-campus accommodation for students, research scholars, delegates attending residential courses, and essential staff.
A quiet space for mentoring, coaching and prayer at the heart of the campus β nurturing the spiritual formation of staff, learners and researchers.
Skill development and entrepreneurship programmes equipping candidates for employment and start-ups.
Periodic conferences, think-tank consultations and CIM's annual management summits β also available on rent to institutions with aligned causes.
Additional residential capacity for students, scholars and delegates as academic and conference programmes expand.
A research institute at the intersection of faith and management, supporting PhD and other scholars through colloquiums and conferences. Sabbatical & Refresher Centre for leaders.
A world-class physical and digital library, the CIM Press (publishing wing), and a multi-media studio disseminating knowledge for a wider audience.
Each phase is designed to function independently and deliver immediate operational value while contributing to the broader vision.
Residential, conference, research and media infrastructure have been intentionally deferred to later phases β keeping Phase 1 focused and financially achievable.

"CIM is the best thing that has happened to the YMCA Training and Leadership Department in its more than 100 years of history in imparting training. I envy the young secretaries since I missed such systematic, organised training when I underwent my training in 1998β99."

"They didn't just deliver services; they became co-labourers, walking with us, as we moved forward in faith and purpose. We believe that the Christian Institute of Management truly walked with us in the journey, rather than offering just a momentary service."

"When our Church council was summoned by the Income Tax Dept., as the treasurer, I was perplexed. With the help of the Financial Management Council conducted by CIM, we could resolve the issues β and were the first among 800+ institutions in our region to get 12AB certification for tax exemption. Thanks to CIM."
