I. OBJECTIVE:

To provide basic Management skills to students of Bible colleges and staff of Churches and Mission organisations.

II. CONTEXT:

The increasing managerial challenges within Missions, Churches, from society and the Government.

III. CONTENT:

a) Exposure to management principles & practices in a simple and practical manner.

b) Scriptural and practical examples: 50% theory & 50% case studies, group discussions and presentations (by students)

c) subjects:

1. Vision / Mission / Strategy

2. Leadership (based on Christ's model of servant leadership)

3. Management functions, relevant to Missions and Churches

4. Team Building

5. Motivation & Goal setting, relevant to Missions and Churches

6. Basic Accounts

7. HRM

8. Legal requirements / Minority rights

9. Project management

10. Public Relations

The duration of training for the 10 subjects will be minimum of 6 full days.  Participants are advised to commit to this investment of time to reap the full benefits of the training.

Interested Bible colleges, Churches & Missions will have to sign a MOU with CIM prior to their trainers' initial visit

IV. COST:

I. Teaching fee of only Rs.200/- (two hundred) per student, minimum Rs.5000/- (if less than 25 students) plus cost of travel (A/C train fare) and board and lodge of CIM faculty

II. Course material at subsidised cost of Rs.50/- (fifty only) per student.

III. Hand-book on Basic Management & leadership costing Rs.100/- at Rs.60/- (sixty only, at 40% discount)

IV. Rs.100/- towards for issue of Certificate & Examination fee per candidate
