We
are a growing network of Christian professionals committed to provide management
and leadership training to Christian service personnel. (Nehemiah :2:18)
- We
are committed to the Lord Jesus Christ. Our life goal is to do His will (John:
4:34 ). We strive to maintain daily personal relationship with the Lord, in spite
of our many limitations and defects (John:15:4 )
- We are interdenominational.
We are responsible members of various churches. We network and team up for the
common task which is much higher than our denominational differences. We also
serve all churches in their managerial and leadership training need.
- We
try to base all our actions, plans and objectives on the holy scripture. While
we derive insights from the best of human experiences and managerial expertise,
all our plans and actions are ultimately guided by the Word of God (I Cor:1:30).
- We
emphasise prayer. We pray till we are affirmed by the Spirit of God to take up
major plans of actions or long range goals. (John:14:26.) No action is taken without
collective affirmation in the Spirit.
- We emphasis management excellence.
We do not see spirituality and managerial excellence as mutually exclusive or
at cross purpose. We believe that according to the Holy Scripture both are of
equal importance for effective witness of the Church before the unbelieving society.
While we are still learning and struggling we aim at high level performance standards
for ourselves and the Churches and mission agencies whom we serve.
- We
are hard core optimists. We do not despair about managerial deficiencies, challenges
or lack of accountability in some Christian services (Isaiah:42:4). We trust in
the Holy Spirit, who revives, redeems and transforms. We speak to the mountain
( Zec:4:6-10 ) we rebuild what is ruined ( Isaiah: 61:4) we help the struggling
weak ministries (Isaiah : 40:11; Isaiah :42::3)
- We believe in
networking, cooperation and partnership. Any credible team or individual management
professional is welcome to contribute his/her professional service to the churches
and missions through our networking. No single agency is the answer to all the
needs around us. Together we can accomplish much more. We strive hard to avoid
duplication.
- We believe in discipling (each management / leadership
professional mentoring another person) so that we multiply our service many fold
(II Tim:2:2). We believe in deliberately aiming to become dispensable by mentoring
others because in the Lord's kingdom only such mentors seem almost indispensable.
- As
India and the Asian nations are attaining global standards in secular management
we believe Christian Management cannot lag behind in attaining global standards.
- We
are accountable to the Indian and South Asian church. Major plans or decisions
are taken by us after consulting the national federations of Churches and mission
agencies. Some of them have their representatives on the General Body of CIM.
- We
aim at offering our best of services at a cost affordable to South Asian Church.
We the staff and resource persons in our network practice simple life style so
that our service reaches its recipients at the lowest affordable cost. (II Sam:
24 : 24).
- We believe in transparency (I John: 1:7). All our functioning
decisions including all our financial accounts, are open to the public. Our motto
is "Accountability to the Lord, to the Church and to the State".
- We
are learners. Even though we have set the above core values for ourselves, we
are yet to reach them fully. However we aim high trusting the Lord alone that
we will eventually attain and maintain them. We will strive hard to remain learners
(Phil:3:12-14) so that we can remain trainers.
