instructions and other information through the bimonthly magazine Christian Manager.
This is the first management magazine in Asia exclusively designed for Christian
Managers and leaders. Annual subscription Rs.240/- (South Asia) US $ 25.
Publish
books and booklets to help the churches and Christian organizations to enhance
and maintain high management standards covering topics on Christian Management,
Leadership, Finance, Human Resource, Organizational Behaviour, Organizational
Development, Laws, and Income Tax. The first volume of the handbook "Management
of Christian Services in India" was published in February 2004 (Rs.300 US
$ 30) and is widely received across India. The second Volume was released in 2005
(Rs. 250). Booklets for leaders on Anti Conversion Acts were published in 2002
and 2003. Training
Conduct seminars to impart professional knowledge to keep organizations
updated with the latest functions and latest legislations. Seminars have been
conducted all over India benefiting more than 1000 organizations and churches.
Management Course
- offered through Martin Luther Christian University (MLCU). CIM offers
M.A. Christian Management from August 2004 exclusively designed
for Christian leaders and managers. This Course is through self study and e-learning
at very affordable cost to enable the Christian leaders who cannot afford the
time, cost, or dislocation to pursue residential management studies. This course
is the 'first of its kind in Asia'. Post Graduate Diploma Courses and short term
courses in Christian Management are planned for 2007 onwards.
Organizational Development
Conduct management study of organizations for capacity building of organizations
and staff. This is done at the request of an organization and the request of the
supporting church or donor, by:
- Reworking the constitution, structure
and systems of an organization/church which does not meet the current needs and
issues.
- Building the leadership and management team-recommending
or assisting in remedial measures.
- Studying and recommending
measures in management of manpower, finance, projects etc.

Provide
on official request from supporting churches or donors, very comprehensive professional
'Reference' (of international quality) about the management standards and accountability
of an organization. Mediation
Provide, on request, mediation service in intra organizational
and inter organizational conflicts. In the last few years CIM helped some major
mission bodies and church denominations. |
