CIM
provides mediation service on intra-organizational and inter organizational issues.
CIM on request has helped mission organizations, and churches in conflicts related
to administration and ministries in the field.
There are a few major church
denominations that have appellate for a who render commendable service in resolving
organizational conflicts. Their hands need to be strengthened. However, if all
its appellate members belong to the same church, there can be complaints of subjectivity
or partiality. CIM can assist them with objective outside professional expertise.
CIM
is available to help national federations to become the appellate authority to
their constituent churches/ organizations. Most federating bodies seem to be averse
to the idea of assuming responsibilities for conflict resolution for their constituent
organizations because they lack the manpower and/or professional expertise to
handle conflicts. CIM can provide such professional help.
If there are
organizations or context where no appellate body exists, CIM is available to help
directly in conflict resolution.
