MANAGEMENT SEMINARS:
A training program for grass-root Leaders was held at Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh
on 11 & 12 March. Resource Persons: SD Jeyakumar (CIM) and Jacob Varghese (CIM).
The sessions were translated into Hindi. At the end many of them came forward to
testify about how they benefited from the training.

MCM & MA in Christian Management - Semester I and III examination results

Certificate Course for the theological students of Central India Biblical
Seminary (Damoh, Madhya Pradesh) was conducted from 7 - 10 March 2011. Resource
Persons: Varghese Jacob (CIM) and Aby Alexander (CIM). Topics handled:
Leadership, Management Functions, Goal setting, Handling Finances, Dealing with
People, Legal responsibilities and privileges, Managing Projects, Resource
Mobilisation, Managing your Time, Managing your Property, Networking and
Partnering, and Balancing Family and Ministry Life.
Another Certificate Course has been conducted at Dumka in Jharkhand (Santhals)
in partnership with ESAF from 15-18 March. Resource Persons: SD Jayakumar (CIM)
and Aby Alexander (CIM). Topics covered: Leadership, Goal setting, Handling
Finance, Dealing with People, Managing Projects, Managing your Time, and
Balancing Family and Ministry Life.
A Certificate Programme was organized for the Bible College students of IGSM,
Tiruvallur, Tamil Nadu on 7th March. Resource Persons: Arul Mariyanathan (CIM),
Sam Blesson (CIM) and Shankar Suresh (CIM). Topics covered: Biblical Leadership,
Handling Finance, Legal responsibilities and privileges and Goal Setting.

CHRISTIAN MANAGER:
The Feb March issue on Integrating Small Groups was despatched. The Cover
feature is the interview with Chadwick Samuel, English Service Pastor of the New
Life Assembly of God Church which gives a detailed picture of the small groups
methodology adopted by NLAG. The other supportive interviews are with Dr. Victor
Choudhrie, a house church leader and Rev. Raychawdhuri, General Secretary of
Assam Baptist Convention. The issue is on helping readers understand the
leadership and management issues in new and emerging church growth models.
