In a thought-provoking event held in Greater Noida, Delhi NCR,  Life Focus Society hosted a seminar titled “From Here to Tomorrow”, in partnership with CBMC, Delhi Movement, CIM and CMCT. This one day conference held on March 1st,  aimed to provide Biblical insights into building sustainable organisations. More than 60 participants from various marketplace avenues attended the conference.

The first session emphasised on “Purpose over Goals: live for something that lasts long”. As purpose and vision was at the centre of the lives of Lord Jesus and Paul, the session highlighted examples from their lives.

The second session was on “Developing a faith based ecosystem for sustainable business”. The sacred vs secular divide cannot be present in such an ecosystem, suggesting that business persons cannot shed their faith when entering into business ventures. Great businesses must be both profitable and sustainable. It was reiterated that business must be redeemed, rewired and responsive.

The third session titled, “The Truth behind numbers”, focused on understanding Financial Statements. Stressing on being faithful in small things, it also encouraged generosity and sharing with care.

The fourth session was on “Avoiding Meaninglessness: Through the eyes of the Teacher”. The session started with the reflection on the Jewish celebration of the Festival of Tents reminding the futility of life. The book of Law that was read during the festival echoed three voices: King, Priest and Prophet, bringing forth wisdom, revelation and redemption. Though life is vanity of vanity, with God’s purpose, each one can build with joy and meaning.

The fifth session was on “managing, leading and developing people”. One of the major takeaways was that “A leader sets ambition, shapes tomorrow, ensures well being and delivers results by putting people above everything”.

The sessions focused on critical themes such as developing a faith-based ecosystem, avoiding feelings of meaninglessness in the workplace, and fostering a robust organisational culture. Participants learned about the significance of growing value-based regional businesses that contribute positively to the community.

The seminar featured a lineup of distinguished speakers, including Samir Deokuliar, motivational speaker and consultant,Sanjay Patra, Executive Director of  CPA Services Pvt. Ltd., Nathan Andrews, a prominent real estate and infrastructure developer, and Jacob Cheriyan from  Life Focus Society.

This initiative aimed to inspire attendees to integrate their faith into their professional lives, ultimately fostering a more sustainable and ethically sound business environment in the region. The gathering encouraged networking and the exchange of ideas among professionals committed to making a difference in their respective fields.

When the event concluded, attendees left with renewed motivation to apply the insights gained, paving the way for a better tomorrow anchored in strong values and purpose-driven work.
