We have entered yet another advent season. Our hearts are filled with gratitude for what the Lord has done through incarnation. As we get busy with many programmes, let’s consciously internalise the meaning of what we do.
Christmas is a season of giving. The Lord generously gave his own Son, who in turn generously gave even the last drop of his blood so that we would become rich. As we reflect and reciprocate Jesus' generosity, let us give as our hearts prompt us. Let it be a giving filled with joy (2 Cor.9.8).
As you consider the various ministries and people to support, we would be delighted if you could kindly consider CIM as well. Some of you might wonder why a management institute needs to be supported when it charges fees to its participants.
Yes, CIM from its inception, made a policy decision that it would charge for all its services. However, CIM’s service charges are intentionally kept much below the cost, to make it affordable for the staff of religious and charitable organisations. The financial model of CIM is to raise donations to subsidise the cost.
In the past, CIM received foreign donations for the subsidy. Thus, CIM didn’t make many financial appeals to our friends in India. However, we would like to intentionally reduce foreign donations and have more donations from Indian citizens.
Thus, you are an essential part of CIM’s future ministry, not just as a recipient of CIM’s services, or a resource person or prayer partner, but also as a financial supporter of CIM. It would be great if you could kindly consider CIM’s ministry in this season of giving.
