Celebrating Nearly 17 Years of Passionate Dedication

In a testament to dedication and purpose, Ms. Suganthi, the Management Coordinator at CIM, reflects on her nearly 17-year journey with the organisation. Her story is one of growth, service and an unwavering commitment to support NGOs in their mission to make a positive impact.

A Tenure Rooted in Purpose

Ms. Suganthi joined CIM in 2008. She first learned about CIM through friends who spoke highly of its commitment to social causes, which inspired her to apply for a role that resonated deeply with her values. “I felt encouraged to be part of something significant”, she recalls, highlighting her longstanding passion for meaningful work.

Competence and Character

Ms. Suganthi’s impressive skill set encompasses strong coordination and organisational abilities, excellent communication skills and a quick learning capacity. With an MBA in Educational Management, her qualifications are complemented by her strengths in adaptability and resource stewardship.

Faith as an Anchor

A profound aspect of Ms. Suganthi’s journey is her deep faith, which she cites as a significant influence throughout her life. Her favourite verses from the Bible have anchored her during challenging times. Citing Isaiah 49:1,  “Before I was born the Lord called me; from my mother’s womb he has spoken my name” , she shares, this promise has been a source of courage and strength as she navigates her career.

In moments of uncertainty, she finds comfort in Psalm 46:10, which reminds her of God’s presence and control over her life. It’s this faith that guides her in her role at CIM, empowering her to commit fully to her work.

Reflecting on her life experiences, she said, “Jesus changed not only my life but also the way I think and view people”. 

Shifting her focus from seeking recognition to serving God became a guiding principle for her. “Whatever you do, do it as to the Lord”, she quotes, outlining her commitment to serving faithfully without the desire for accolades.

Looking Ahead

As she looks to the future, Ms. Suganthi reveals her desire to continue serving the Lord wholeheartedly. Her belief in CIM’s mission—to rebuild organisations and guide leaders towards excellence—is a calling she eagerly embraces. “I trust that my Lord will fulfil His purpose for me through CIM”, she states.

When asked about her hopes for CIM, Ms. Suganthi envisions a collaborative and productive environment that fosters growth and encourages teamwork. Her gratitude radiates outward as she considers her journey thus far, acknowledging God’s unwavering guidance in her life and work.
