CIM’s Social Initiative

Christian Institute of Management is committed to enhancing the conditions of underprivileged communities and socio-economic groups. Some of the efforts include collaborations with NGOs to support children in need.

On December 5, 2024, CIM partnered with CMCT, Chetpet, Chennai to reach out to approximately 80 children benefiting from the Family Child Care Centre in Mogappair. The initiative, known as the Christmas Cheer Box project, provided essential items such as T-shirts, stationery, and other basic accessories for children.

The event was honoured by key representatives from CIM, including, Dr. Aby Alexandar, the Executive Director, Dr. Mercia, the Director of Research, Courses and Publications, and Mr. Shankar, the Finance Manager, with their prayers and presence. Mr. Allwin, the Senior Management Coordinator at CIM, shared the Christmas Message and led the children in prayer, and it was followed by carol singing, dancing and a skit by the community children. Parents and community members graced the festive atmosphere with their presence.

The successful organisation of the event was led by Mr. Aaron, Director, Mr. David Prabhakaran, Senior Manager, and the dedicated project staff from CMCT. Their meticulous planning and execution were instrumental in creating a joyful experience for the children.

CIM expresses its heartfelt gratitude to CMCT for the collaboration and the opportunity to share their love and support with the needy children in the community.
